Looking for a developer to join the support and tactical projects team. This team supports the Global Municipal/Money Market Business and works on small to medium sized projects within our Municipal, US and European Money Market business units. The candidate is expected to support the Municipal/Money Market technology and infrastructure, interact with the trading and sales desk to help resolve problems and issues, produce quality technical solutions for critical and time sensitive tasks, and work with team members on projects.
Position Description:
-Mostly a support position that involves little development
-Understand existing and new business/technology flows.
-Enhance existing services and participate in the redesign of existing services to handle money market business functionality.
-Work with teams of developers both within Municipal/Money Market Systems and across other technology groups.
-Participate in design and code reviews.
-Support and implement money market strategic and tactical technology implementations.
Experience: -Minimum of 5 years programming experience. -Languages: C, C++, csh, ksh, PERL, JAVA, SQL -Strong communication skills (written & oral) -Operating System: UNIX (Solaris), Windows -Database: SYBASE -GUI, PERL and scripting language development a plus -Degree in computer science or technical equivalent -Municipal/Money Markets business knowledge a plus.
