Description
Facilitate meetings with, understand business issues and evaluate needs against accounting software.
Manage financial application software configuration.
Develop specifications for design requirements of interactive and batch applications, software changes, batch programs, scheduling, and system customizations.
Prepare and manage project workplans, manage project progress against workplans.
Manage teams to resolve issues.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years experience in using, implementing and supporting financial systems.
Experience in managing implementation/development teams preferred.
B.S./B.B.A. in Accounting, Finance or Computer Science (or equivalent).
Key Technical Skills:
Oracle EnterpriseOne (J.D. Edwards OneWorld Xe) functional experience in Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing.
Working knowledge of Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, ERW (Enterprise Report Writer) and OMW (Object Management Workbench) highly desired.
Experience with MS Project a plus. Experience with bolt-on solutions such as Vertex TDM, MicroStrategy, and forms' production software a plus.
Familiarity with HTML, Java or other internet development tool would be a plus.
The candidate must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, and possess good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work as a part of a team, working closely with colleagues, direct managers and executives. Strong customer orientation is required.
