Job Description
This position primarily consists of the technical ownership of the DART ad serving system.

The Adserving system currently handles over 12 billion transactions daily. The work involves a wide range of systems utilizing both Microsoft and open source technologies where the delivery mechanism is online.

The key responsibility of the position is the design of the Adserving system to ensure scalability, stability, functionality, cost and development velocity. The candidate is also responsible for technically leading the development team to achieve these goals.

The team works using an agile software development methodology called SCRUM.

Role & Responsibilities:
Responsibility primarily consists of the design and technical ownership of the DART Adserving systems.

Minimum Job Requirements / Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10+ years of overall experience with at least 3 years is a similar role
- High performance transaction processing (billions of transactions daily)
- Data Communications areas such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP
- Threading, concurrency
- Algorithms, sorting/taxonomies
- Caching and High Availability/Reliability
- Windows (C++ preferred)

The position requires leadership skills and the ability and desire to educate and share knowledge.
The position requires the ability to work with a team to coordinate changes.
The candidate should be interested in coding as well as a design.
