Manage the development efforts for Human Resources (HR) applications including PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS), compensation, benefits, payroll systems and third party products that interface to downstream applicationsLead the full lifecycle of HR projects and key operational/support tasksWork with managers to define technical services and develop proposals that include scope of work, cost estimates and resource plansProvide project oversight and administration including written status reports, issues tracking, change control and status meetings to review outstanding project requests and issuesMaintain support for existing applications including technology upgrades, maintenance, issue resolution and enhancementsProvide hands-on technical experience while developing new services and problem resolution on support issuesMaintain strong relationships with internal customers and clientsCoordinate with various parties involved including clients, Information Technology Support groups and third-party vendors, if applicableProvide feedback to performance managers about team members
Experience: Six years of systems analysis and program development experienceThree years of experience as a project manager responsible for application development projectsHands-on development and project management experience in PeopleSoftExperience with HRMS/Compensation/Benefits/Payroll modules in version 8.8 or higherBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college/universityExcellent communication skills and analytical abilitiesCollaborative interpersonal skillsExperience as a primary project leader on successful midsize application development projects from requirements through implementationSolid experience with requirements gathering and business process analysisStrong knowledge of database and reporting tools including Oracle, SQL as well as PeopleTools (Peoplecode, SQR's)Familiarity with project management and documentation tools including Microsoft ProjectExperience with evaluating and integrating third party products, application implementation and support proceduresPeopleSoft HRMS or HCM version 8.8 or higherHands-on expertise with Peoplecode (MUST BE ABLE TO CODE - to help junior developers with issues).Solid Project Management skills and good communication skills.
