Our client, a midtown web development company, has an immediate need for a HTML/ CSS2 Developer. The web developer will be responsible for the maintenance and new development of current web pages written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. In addition, the web developer will use CSS2 to create tableless layouts. Extensive use of DHTML including work with DOM will be required. In this capacity, the web developer will work closely with a team of designer and back-end developers. You will be responsible for code optimization and overall development in HTML and CSS. The web developer will also integrate code with one or more server side scripting technologies, ASP and ASP.net ideally.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
-3+ years coding experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
-Extensive experience creating tableless layouts with CSS2 is required.
-Experience with DOM, DIV, is a plus.
-Experience integrating code with server side scripting (ASP, ASP.net)
-Strong experience using Dreamweaver as a development tool.
-An understanding of XML and XSLT is desirable but not required.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team is absolutely vital.
