The primary function of the Senior PeopleSoft Administrator is to support and maintain all environments of ERP (PeopleSoft) applications to superior levels of service. Additionally, the person in this position will guide from a technical perspective, the successful design, development, enhancement, upgrades, and implementation of additional enterprise systems and software applications as needed. Leadership in all technical aspects of administration for the Applications will be expected from this position.Responsibilities:** Support and maintain the existing Enterprise Infrastructure to ensure operational efficiencies and integrity of systems and software. Create and maintain all application administration related documentation. ** Monitor performance of all aspects of the environment. This includes performance tuning the application servers, web servers and database servers as well as issues related to PCs. ** Implement and integrate software upgrades, patches, projects to meet changing business needs and help prepare estimates and project plans accordingly. Keep the ERP team apprised of new releases by vendors and impact on systems. ** Consult with and build relationships with various business partners regarding business needs in order to better understand the environment. Work with PeopleSoft Security Administrators to ensure proper level of access to technical area is granted. Should be aware of key functional areas and their use within the HIP organization. ** Work with team leader to help develop strategy, plan, schedule, and manage the technical aspects for all phases of major enterprise ERP Projects. ** Mentor and guide junior team members. ** This assignment must be performed on site.Skills and Experiences:** Must have extensive knowledge of People Soft Applications including but not limited to:o People Tools 8.45 or higher.o PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 or higher, HR 8.8 or higher and EPM 8.8 or higher.o BEA Web Server, Tuxedo and Jolt configuration for Web Server and Application servers.o Performed PeopleSoft tools and application upgrade.o Familiar with PeopleSoft development technologies such as People Tools, Application Engine, SQR, Cobol Programs, Crystal, Component Interface and N-Vision.o Developer skills are a plus.** Ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of the organization is required. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate complex technical information in a concise and articulate manner.** Ability to manage relationships successfully and resolve conflicts.** Some core functional knowledge is a plus with regard to this position:o Financial Modules: PO, AP, AM, GL and Order Management.o HR Modules: General, Base Benefits, Ben Admin, Payroll Interface, Time and Labor.o EPM Budget Modules.** A minimum of 5-8 years of hands on People Soft Application and database administration which includes:o Ongoing Production Maintenance in terms of patches, minor upgrades, bug fixes, database performance tuning, application engine traces, and all other application and database related issues.o Experience with full version upgrades PeopleSoft.o Worked debugging PeopleSoft technologies such as People Code, Application Engine, SQR, SQL, etc.** Technologies such as Windows 2003, XP, Oracle, IIS, and Web/Application Server technology such as Tuxedo, Jolt and Web Logic from SEA.** Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN fundamentals and other networking concepts.** Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.
