If you are interested please forward your resume and I will respond ASAP for a detail discussion.Thank you,Frank Julianowww.barronsys.comPosition Details Senior Network Engineer -responsibilities include:Design and Implement convergent network designs (High capacity STD-Def, and Hi-Def Interactive Video, VOIP, and Data)Carrier interface and provisioningCoordinate local loop provisioning, installation, and troubleshootingNetwork equipment configuration and testingOperational Troubleshooting and escalation support to VOC, Video Engineering, Service Engineering, and partner carriers.Implement, support, and grow as necessary the Video Network Operations Centers (VNOC) infrastructureWork closely with Director of Network Engineering on design concepts, implementation requirements, and operational support needs of customers, VNOC support engineers, and Video engineers, as it relates to transport, and project managers.*This is a hands-on engineering position for the well rounded Sr. Network Engineer and will grow into managing all aspects of deployments and provides exposure to some of the most advanced technologies, often before there are books on the subject.Technical Requirements / SkillsExcellent understanding of network Infrastructure design and IntegrationLayer 3 switching/routing driven by Policy Management to deliver convergent data transports, specifically DiffServ and Intserv technologies. Layer 2/3 switching/routing with COS/QOS via 802.1p, IP Precedence, WFQ, CBWFQ, Custom Queuing, LLQ, SPQLayer 3 MPLS IP VPN knowledge with QOS in the enterprise. Some knowledge of carrier side MPLS with labels, LDP, VRF's, RD's. MPLS MPBGP is a big plus.Knowledge of VPN's (Luca Martini), and VPLS is a plus.Multi-service networking requirements (i.e.: MPEG4 (H.264), MPEG2, H.323 legacy video, VOIP) Strong IPv4 Routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, IS-ISStrong BGP4, Note: MPBGP MPLS is a big plus (Configuration of CE, PE, P Routers)Internet connectivity and securityFamiliar with SNMP Network Management systems in general.Customer infrastructure devices are mostly Cisco. Carrier peer devices are high throughput Cisco . Other deployments are expected to be large M-class Juniper class. (Opportunity to add June OS to your IOS knowledge going forward)Requirements:At least five plus years experience in relevant technologies and working environments. Proven goal oriented self-starter with good problem solving skills. Ability to perform hands on switch, router, configuration and troubleshooting.Ability to produce high quality documentation and presentation material.Ability to work collaboratively.Excellent written and oral communication skills
