Our client is looking for an senior Informatica developer. Atleast 6 years of progressive experience in skill sets noted below
Strong experience in Informatica
Define data and data integration flows (e.g. ETL architecture) supporting the requirements
Define and apply common best practices for the data architecture and communicate them to the user and development communities
Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models that reflect the requirements
Define the data architecture(s) taking into account business and technical requirements, client environment, commercial tools, and stated project/program objectives.
Define and implement Data Quality programs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to express complex ideas pictorially
Prior experience with large scale enterprise application development is required. Financial Industry experience is highly desirable
Excellent programming skills, practicing ETL developer
MS or BS in computer science or related technical field
To provide requirements analysis, physical and logical design specifications, development and testing of computer programs and/or application components; translate functional specifications into technical specifications; assess, recommend and implement practical, cost effective and efficient systems solutions to business, application and technical problems; perform prototyping, construction, integration and migration functions; may assist in platform determination; follow rigorous system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management best practices, comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other processes related to regulatory or compliance requirements, and adhere to change control and problem management procedures.
Experience: Heavy Informatica Development
Oracle PLSQL development.
Data Modeling and Design
Document Design
-Leads complex / major efforts regarding the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of computer programs and / or application components.
-Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards.
-Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area.
-Resolves complex application and technical problems.
-May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives.
-Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components.
-Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies.
-Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff.
-Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes.
-Leads evaluations of
systems / applications software technologies.
-May lead project teams.
-Strong ability to work collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts.
-Performs software architecture and systems design.
