Summary: Individual will be responsible for working with the lead Release Manager to coordinate release activities across the various development teams to ensure software gets to the multiple delivery channels in a coordinated and effective manner. This includes all supporting activities that are required to achieve this goal including running the internal sTTM (Software Time to Market) processes and interfacing with the sTTM processes that occur outside of the of the development organization.
Importance: Communication, timely software delivery, relationships, and appropriate expectation setting are critical to a successful software release. A successful release is achieved when 1.) the expectations for software delivery (e.g., requirements, training and supporting documentation) are set and communicated effectively; 2.) there is open, active and constructive communication between the customer (includes operations staff, Program Team, and field personnel) and the Platform Development group; and 3.) all facets of the development organization are working together using efficient processes to produce high quality deliverables that meet the customer's needs.

. Ability to put together a work plan to accomplish integrated activities which include multiple groups (Dev teams, Program Team, Customers who receive our software)

. Ability to assess and analyze, at a high-level, software requirements to anticipate risks and impact to schedule, and set the correct customer expectations
. Ability to coordinate activities amongst peers who may have significantly more technical and product knowledge
. Maintain a level of credibility to ensure complex activities involving many groups can be accomplished efficiently and effectively. These include: Feature Design and Development, Support, QA, Solutions Engineering, the Program Team, and other adjacent organizations.

. A good understanding of the technology, tools, and our customers. Extreme knowledge is a bonus
