Hands on IT Director:
The Director of IT provides leadership and management for all information technology services and operations. Responsible for the implementation of policy and procedures as they apply to technology. Formulates appropriate recommendations for improvements and/or additions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the information technology services and operations to support the mission of the organization. Responsible for keeping abreast of information technology developments and their appropriate applications within the organization. Plans and implements information technology infrastructure upgrades.
Experience: - They want someone to see the bug picture and work with the company to translate needs to something that can be implemented.
- Organize, prioritize and a GREAT communication skills. Will be presenting recommendations, ideas to implement new solutions to stay up with Technology
- This candidate will have the System Manager report to him
- He/She will be overseeing the IT dept and reports to CEO and CFO
- make sure all equipment is working properly
- this person needs to be hands on as well so if something needs to be fixed, he will have to do that also.
- Must have Windows Server 2000/03 experience
- needs to have Network Experience in an IP environment (they do not have IP right now but hopefully in 6 months will be deploying it)
- Cisco Routers, Switches
- SonicWall - (The Sys Manager is going for sonic wall training in 2 months)
- SQL Sever experience
- VPN - IPSEC or SSL experience
- Full Windows shop - XP at the desktop
- KEY COMPONENT - be able to participate and work with Mgt and help strategically plan with the company in terms of IT. Basically, design, prepare and translate their business strategies and implement it, in terms of IT.
- They have an office in LA so needs to be flexible to travel about 10% of the time
- 100 users
