Financial Service Company is looking for a Security Analyst to work in they New York location.
Required Skills:
Proficient with MS Office (especially Outlook, Access, Excel)
Strongly prefer experience with Archer.
If no experience with Archer, must have prior Process Development experience
Ability to work with a diverse group of functional units
An understanding of vulnerability scanning tools or some experience with such tools (ex. Nessus)
Ability to compile, parse, and analyze data
Clear communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with networking basics.
Understanding of general Information Security principles is required.
Tasks:
- Responsible for taking and distributing minutes of various meetings.
- Assist with the creation of documentation for presentation to various internal and external groups.
- Assist with the collection of information and the generation of monthly and quarterly metrics.
- Position will be responsible for updating and maintaining a Microsoft Sharepoint site (TVA), taking
data from emails (various automated alerts, user response), meeting minutes and/or conversations.
- Position will assist in performing research on security vulnerabilities.
- Position will be responsible for updates to incident tracking site. Will enter and update the appropriate
database via web interface. Will be response for notifying identified personal about incidents and
followup with individuals for updates to events.
- Position will assist Corporate Information Security with various projects ranging from security control device
deployment to generation of vulnerability remediation reports.
- Other jobs as may be defined.
Experience: Education
BA/BS required. Bachelor of Science preferred
0-1 years experience in Information Systems security
