Description Our client a major global financial services provider engaged in retail and commercial banking is seeking a Equities Architecture - Reference DataPermanent position New York Department Overview The Reference Data Services (RDS) group, part of the Equities IT Core Architecture Area, offers a variety of data services and related products to the bank s Equities systems application teams. Main Function Seeking an experienced Equity Reference Data Developer for the firm's global equity reference data team that is responsible for providing reference data to all equities systems. Implement centralized and meaningful data governance while ensuring while ensuring the consistent usage of enterprise reference, accounts, clients and CRM data. Main Duties Deliver a Common Equities Platform to Collect, Store and Distribute Equities Product, Client and Account Reference Data. Improve data quality and service levels of the sourced enterprise reference data systems. Maintain metrics/measures around DQ and coverage. The individual will work closely within the global team (based in New York , Singapore and London ). Candidate should be able to follow Client EQT front office development standards dictated by the global team, and be able to deliver solutions in a timely manner Aggressive approach to develop skills and learn new technologies Person Requirements Technical skills: (70%) Data base (30%) Java development Experience building multithreaded Real Time systems with high volume of messages using Tibco or similar Middleware Strong knowledge of databases is required; Oracle is must, preferred is both Oracle and MS Sql server Experience with Tibco EMS, Tibco Rendezvous, IBM MQ Series required. Development and maintenance of the distributed caching infrastructure Prior Experience in Enterprise Integration/Messaging Projects (including publishing and subscribing) preferred Good to have skills: Tangosol Cache Coherence Non-technical skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills Team player Self motivated Ability to work in dynamic environment demanding multi-tasking skills
