Our client, a major New York City based Investment bank, is recruiting for a Java Swing developer to develop an effective interface of a trading system and applications used for all Fixed Income products. This is a global system with thousands of users across America, Europe and Asia.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Core Java and Swing developer.
- Experience with AWT, SWT, Eclipse RCP framework, design patterns, multi-threading, JMS and Tibco RV.
- Must have worked within the finance industry and have good knowledge of Fixed Income products including derivatives, interest rate, basis swaps, cash, credit, government bonds, interest rate options & swaptions, FRAs and caps / floors, High Yield, High Grade Credit, Mortgage, Municipal Bonds, Credit Default Swaps (CDS).
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience with Trade Flow, Trade Capture or Trade Processing is a major advantage.
- Front office exposure and familiarity with unit tests and continuous integration is highly desired.
