Experience: . Act as administrator of HP Quality Center and QuickTest Professional test tools; set-up and maintain projects and users. Create user procedures. Develop and Support standard metrics and reports.
. Design, develop, maintain, and support automated scripts using HP QuickTest Professional and primary support for tool.
. Perform test case/script change management: version control and maintenance of script and function reuse libraries.
. Install and configure test tools working with vendors and technology infrastructure groups. Create install procedures. Test tools to ensure tools perform per vendor specifications. Perform vendor problem resolution tasks working with Technology Infrastructure Groups such as Database and Server Administration.
. Manage downloading, testing, and implementation of vendor releases.
. Maintain user and vendor software lists, versions, and contacts.
. Administer and schedule shared and named software licenses.
. Keep abreast of vendor and M&T technologies and standards. Act as technical advisor to test team. Recommend and order new hardware and software; maintain work orders.
. Setup and monitor server and workstation maintenance including backup/restore routines and tuning on regular basis with technology infrastructure groups.
. Act in a liaison capacity to Information Technology for server administration, authentication, and networking.
. Perform basic database functions such as query to validate test results and perform manual testing from provided test scripts as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or in lieu of degree, four to five years relevant computer science experience.
. Minimum five years experience in HP Quality Center administration and QuickTest Professional automation tool set.
. Experience in software workstation and server implementations and trouble shooting.
. Experience in SQL, Oracle, AIX, Windows 2000/2003 and XP technologies preferred.
