Our client is a very well known national corporation seeking a SAN storage expert for this contract-to-hire position.
Required qualifications:
Must know the nuts and bolts of SAN and EMC CLARiiON
Must know how Switches and Zoning components work together, design and configuration methods
Must understand the limitations of hardware and / or software based on firmware level
Must have working knowledge of LUN Masking
Must be able to discuss RAID types, Meta-luns, multipath and their relative merits
Must have experience with Tape Libraries: design considerations for fabric interconnectivity, performance metrics
Must know the nuts and bolts of NAS, Netapp Filer, backup solutions
Must have understanding of implications of NFS exports, CIFS shares and multiprotocol shares, data migration techniques, network topologies
Must have skills and experience in Enterprise Tools and toolsets: reporting, metrics gathering, performance, etc.
