Our client, a major Investment Bank based in New York City, seeks a strong Senior Core Java developer to build a front-office trading system. In this role, you will be required to solve challenging software engineering problems, interact with business users and learn trading and risk management aspects of the credit business. This is a Vice President (VP) level position which requires 7 to 10 years of experience as a Core Java developer.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a Core Java developer.
- Experience working in the financial industry including an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, Trading Firm, Brokerage firm, etc.
- Experience developing a real-time trading system.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Business knowledge of Fixed Income products or Risk management is a major plus.
- Technical skills with C# and databases are also good advantages.
