BI Developer
- The candidate will be involved in the newly created Securities Lending Analytics team.
- The candidate will be heavily involved in the Development and Testing of our strategic analytics platform utilizing MS BI technologies.
- Gain subject matter expertise on a number of securities Lending subjects which are integral to the Analytics work performed; including Swaps, Margin, Prime Brokerage and Securities lending.
Key Deliver ables
. Successfully implement new or enhanced Analytics for Global Securities Lending team.
. Work closely with other development leads locally and outsourced development resources to create an effective team culture with strong delivery ethic
. Help develop specifications with the business analysts on a wide range of projects and initiatives, spanning Securities Lending as well as other Prime Services initiatives
. Lead the development process from requirements gathering, through implementation, to release
. Contribute to setting of high standards for code development and implement high quality development processes.
. Ability to run user acceptance tests with a wide user base across front office, back office and IT, and work with the development team to manage the release process.
. Design, document, implement, test, and release to the highest possible standard, with attention to detail
. Follow a formal Software Development Life cycle (SD LC+) in every aspect of the development

Qualifications/ competencies(Please refer below for a complete list of competencies.)
At least 5 years industry experience in relevant business line.
Strong experience in MS Business Intelligence toolset (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & SQL Server 2005). Some graphics experience using Dundas would be an advantage.
Strong experience in developing MDX queries
Experience in developing screens using ASP.Net
Strong analytical skills: ability to understand and critique specifications, confident to push back on unclear requirements.
The candidate should have good understanding of OO and n-tier development techniques.
Experience in supporting end users preferably within a trading environment.
Project lifecycle experience: delivery on at least 2 large-scale, highly complex projects.
The candidate will have at least 5 years experience in development of financial applications and should have a good background in equity and fixed income products and ideally knowledge of the securities lending business (although this is not essential)
