Due to our consistent growth and prosperity, we are looking to fill a key Network Computing/Sr Staff Specialist role within the Technology division of M&T Bank. RESPONSIBILITIES: Incumbent is responsible for Design, specifications and implementation of computer information technology infrastructure solutions in large multi-site corporate environment to solve complex business and technical problems or enhancements. Incumbent is also responsible for project analysis, development and implementation of corporate-wide NCS-driven technology projects leveraging comprehensive knowledge of distributed and network computing environments utilizing Microsoft and Cisco-based products.Effective communication of strategy, direction, status, processes, project timelines and more to all levels of management, development staff, operational support staff, internal staff and end users Implement processes and procedures to cost effectively manage, report on, and prioritize resources using (as appropriate) change, problem and work order, time reporting, Intranet and other communication/management systems. Development, approval, publication and communication of Technology Standards and Procedures as they apply to NCS-Owned products Implementing technology changes with a minimum of negative user impact, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the impact of changes on non-technical users, properly packaging technology changes so they are readily understood and delivered, and properly planning, executing and communicating change management. Ability to effectively manage virtual teams and technical vendors Incorporation of continual process and technology improvement into assigned projects and ability to garner consensus of approval and acceptance of technology changes Ability to make appropriate technology choices for large corporate technology environment Implementation of NCS developed products and technology to M&T Bank utilizing ITIL service-based approach whether directly to end-users or, as back end continual process improvements Implementation of large-scale technology changes utilizing Microsoft products Implementing Windows 7 Secure Desktop System Implementation of AD-domain based workstation administration Implementation of SCCM-based workstation application packaging and application virtualization Implementation of distributed file replication system Implementation of certificate-based out-of-network workstation security patchingBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or above in a technology field of study or possess at least 7 years experience in related professional enviornment. Five years experience implementing technology in large corporate environment and proven ability to solve complex technical problems and issues Experience with core Microsoft infrastructure products (i.e XP, Windows 7, 2008 server)Ability to manage and motivate non-direct report project/team members Ability to train teams on new technologies and team members to offer new services Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills Ability to handle multiple projects and timeframes simultaneouslyIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in relevant field Microsoft infrastructure product certifications General understanding of ITIL Framework
