Our client, one of the nation's leading innovators in the Communications Industry, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Java/J2EE Architect for a long-term consulting assignment. This individual will work on a number of corporate and business unit initiatives, including the build-out of an internal gateway to support their service delivery models. This is a key technical and strategic position and requires the individual to not only have technical expertise, but a strong business-sense as well as the ability to create and deliver professional presentations to senior level management.. 10+ years experience in Java/J2EE technologies
. Significant Enterprise Architecture & Design experience - at both the systems & applications levels
. Extensive Oracle database experience (SQL/PLSQL)
. Must have strong XML / Web Services Experience
. Strong UNIX O/S background
. Full SDLC experience
. Experience creating complex technical & detailed design documents
. Excellent written and oral presentation skills and be able to interact with Senior Management
. Any Tibco or Vitria experience is a big plus
