SCOPE: Capture project requirements from involved business areas Lead workshops and meetings in order to capture & document the detailed requirements in a concise and effect manner Participate in the testing of new developments Participate in the training of end users Mentor Junior members of staff Facilitate the delivery of a strategic, robust, scalable technology platform meeting business needs RESPONSIBILITIES: Build a strong working relationship with the business and other technology teams Develop a good understanding of relevant business process flows Gain a detailed understanding of business requirements and the associated priorities Construct clear and concise requirements and functional specifications to be used by (internal and external) build teams for the development of solutions Act as an interface between the build teams and the business users Provide input into the build teams regarding business interaction with current and future technology solutions Participate in the high level design of solutions Keep abreast of technology trends both internally and externally Build an understanding of future business direction and priorities Work with testing teams to resolve UAT issues with input from internal operations and technical teams Follow World Wide Security Services best practises REQUIREMENTS: A good understanding of the different types of interest rate, equity and credit derivatives A good understanding of the derivative trade lifecycle A good understanding of Fund Accounting Prior experience of project delivery, business analysis and testing approaches is a key requirement An organised and structured approach to solving problems Good verbal communication and influencing skills Clear, concise and organized written communication skills A self starter mentality with the confidence to drive issues through to completion DESIRED: An understanding of relevant industry technology standards such as FpML Experience of working with a derivatives trading system, ideally Calypso but also including other systems such as Summit, Infinity or Murex An understanding of the buy side of the industry Experience working on Middle/Back Office processing projects Ability to work under pressure Key Words:
