Our Fortune 1000 client is seeking to engage two (2) Senior Ab Initio Developers for a long term consulting assignments. These individuals will be responsible for developing ETL applications from a variety of data sources for integration into a data warehouse environment. Qualified individuals must be highly skilled & knowledgeable as well as able to train & mentor others in proper Ab Initio practices & techniques.
Experience: . 7+ years of overall Information Technology experience - with a demonstrated focus on Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologies and projects;. At least 2-3 years of current Ab Initio development experience - including analysis of multiple, disparate data sources - identifying all required Extraction, Transformation and Loading specifications;. Strong Oracle database and SQL experience - including the development, optimization and tuning of complex stored procedures and triggers;. Demonstrated experience applying accepted best practices for ETL design and production implementation;. Any SAS experience is a plus. Linux O/S a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Previous experience mentoring individuals new to Ab Initio is a MAJOR plus
