Oracle UDB Lead
Genesis10 is seeking an Oracle UDB Lead for a major client in New York City on a full-time basis.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 10 + years of experience in following areas:
-- Oracle/ UDB Manager -Instance Installation & Upgrade
-- Schema management.
-- Database Backup and Recovery.
-- Proactive Database capacity management.
-- Disaster recovery process and best practices with Oracle Dataguard.
-- Database Troubleshooting.
-- Database Performance, Tuning and configuration management.
-- Partitioning Management.
- Experience with VCS/HA/SRDF.
- Ability to write Shell Scripts, experience in working and managing with VLDB.
- Good understanding of change management procedure.
- Experience of Oracle/UDB in a Unix infrastructure environment.
- Provide on call support on weekend as per rotation.
- Knowledge of Autosys based operation Knowledge in troubleshooting and tuning application code.
- Knowledge in Oracle / UDB Enterprise Manager (Grid Control).
- Experience with Oracle/UDB Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM and Oracle Stream.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and interpersonal Skills, will be interacting with end-Users, System Administrators, Business Technical Liaisons, and other contractors/consultants.
- Develops technical concepts and solutions for projects within guidelines outlined in the Firm's Global Technical Standards Financial Industry.
- Must be a team player Ability to learn new technical skills quickly.
