Programmers will support the project by maintaining production applications which reside in mainframe. Mainframe support activity will occur during the period that new applications are being constructed to replace the existing systems.
Programmers will:
? Correct defects and develop enhancements for production applications.
? Participate in the development of new applications by assisting developers with the
construction of integration services between the new applications and the existing
mainframe systems.
? Participate in the development of new applications by converting and migrating data
residing in existing mainframe data structures to database tables in the new application
system.
