This Person will work with the BI architect and Business Analyst to ensure ease of use and flexibility of the user interface. This person will assist in researching and resolving data issues, working closely with the ETL Developer or Architect; assist in executing system, integration and user acceptance testing. Responsible to develop and unit test the BI applications and assist in creating the test plans. Analyze the effectiveness of the BI applications in researching and resolving data issues uncovered during development and testing. Work collaboratively on developing end user training requirements, which includes the development of training materials and conducting end user training. Champion the use and acceptance of the BI tool set with end users. Experience: Requirements include the following skills:
General knowledge and understanding of the data architecture; In depth knowledge and experience in using BI tools such as COGNOS, Brio, Crystal Reports, SPSS, etc. Experience applying sound user interface design techniques with an understanding of the subject areas supported by the data warehouse. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
Ability to work well with others within all organizational hierarchies.
