This is an IT UNIX Services Management consulting (perm) position; we are looking for professionals with very strong hands-on UNIX Technical Architecture / UNIX Infrastructure Architecture experience. There are several positions open now, with salary ranges from $70,000 to $133,000+ depending on your experience. You must have hands-on Technical experience with UNIX Administration or Mainframe Systems Programming.
In addition, you must also have hands-on experience with any of the following technologies, tools, or product sets: Storage systems, Tivoli, Idle Services, HP Services, Remedy, Rational, WebSphere, SOA, VMWare, Cross-Platform services MQ, etc. You will be consulting at our client sites to implement and deliver products. We need a mix of professionals with hands-on technical, technical leadership, project management, client engagement leadership, etc. Again hands-on experience is required, current or in your recent past.
Required:
5+ yr hands-on UNIX Infrastructure Architecture (AIX, HPUX, SUN Solaris, or Linux);
Outside Consulting, with direct customer interaction;
3+ yr implementing IT Infrastructure (UNIX OS, Networks, Storage, Rational, Remedy, Tivoli, Idle, HP, etc);
2+ yr WebServices, WebSphere, SOA, Applications Development, etc;
excellent English communications skills;
70% to 100% travel Monday through Fridays, home weekends;
Live in any major US city; there will be more travel for West Coast employees
Preferred: UNIX Administration and Architecture (AIX, HP-UX, SUN Solaris, LINUX); Mainframe Systems (OS390, MVS, DB2, zOS, zSeries); Network Architecture (Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, etc); Storage (IBM, HP, Hitachi, EMC), SOA, WebSphere, Rational, Remedy, Idle Systems, OOAD, etc; Sales support; Client Engagement Leadership; Investment and Trading applications
