Basic Function:
This position requires the support of approximately 80 CICS regions, including the installation and maintainence of the CICS product as well as other program products that are CICS centric (Omegamon/CICS, Expediter CICS, CICS-VR, etc).  This position interacts heavily with development and production support teams as well as other clients throughout the bank.  The successful candidate will participate in development projects that involve CICS. 
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the support of approximately 80 CICS regions, including the installation and maintainence of the CICS product as well as other program products that are CICS centric (Omegamon/CICS, Expediter CICS, CICS-VR, etc).   In addition, responsibilities also include the installation and periodic maintenance of the CICS product, as well as performance monitoring; making recommendations to ensure that performance goals are met.  Regularly performs programming and debugging responsibilities as needed.  Effectively uses and optimizes the Omegamon/CICS product.    Analyzes system and application dumps.  This position interacts heavily with development and production support teams as well as other clients throughout the bank.  The successful candidate will participate in development projects that involve CICS and will be responsible for working on diverse projects concurrently with minimal supervision.  This position is available in Buffalo(Commerce Drive) or Baltimore (25 So. Charles St.). 
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years data processing experience or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.  Ability to install and maintain the CICS product using SMP/E.  Ability to install, maintain and utilize program products that support the CICS environment (Omegamon/CICS, ACF2/CICS Xpediter/CICS, etc.).  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent testing methodology skills, as well as proven debugging skills, particularly in a production support capacity.  Working knowledge of programming languages (Assembler, Cobol, REXX,CLISTS), ACF2/CICS and experience with CICS/VR file recovery product are preferred.  To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
