Title: Data Security Managed Services Administrator
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: Long Term Contract / Possible Direct Hire


As a Data Security Managed Services Administrator, you are required to manage events that are system reported on a customer's monitored equipment. This involves;

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

o Work as part of the team that provides the on-site security monitoring. As this team administers the security infrastructure and the SIM platform (currently NetForensics) they generally see the faults that occur with the equipment, as they push out new signatures or licenses etc.
o Perform Net Forensics report maintenance functions, Net Forensics maintenance activities that are involved in on-going operational support.
o Work with the Operations Center to stabilize Customer's Security Infrastructure, to support change control and roll-out of new security devices as required.

Tactical activities include:

" Logging of faults with the Customer Management System (Siebel).
" Logging of calls with the Telco
" Driving those calls with the Telco
" Engaging DD maintenance where applicable
" Following the defined procedure
" The entry of professional and detailed information in systems
" Work with the Customer Management center to ensure swift resolution of faults.
" Keep the customer fully updated
" Ensure all documentation including clients documentation is kept up to date at all times.
" Works with Bridge Manager and Service Managers ensuring any issues are brought to their attention.

Qualifications

" Qualifications
o A minimum of 1 year experience with the Cisco suite of security products. .
o Familiarity with IDS/IDSM technologies
o Security Monitoring, analysis and response expertise required
o Network Management familiarity required.
o Demonstrated history of attributes consistent with culture: can-do attitude, customer-focused, flexible, initiative, quality-conscious, responsive, teamwork and contributing to other's success
o Net Forensics, PIX firewall, Cisco 6500 familiarity
o Familiarity with understanding vulnerabilities in a corporate environment
o Telephone/ Communication skills
o Call Center/ Help Desk experience desirable
