Basic Function:
This lead technical position is primariily a Websphere MQ administrator position with some Visual Basic, Java and web development responsibilities. This position interacts heavily with development and production support teams, as well as other clients throughout the Bank. We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience in distributed systems.
Responsibilities:
Duties will include MQSeries administration and support on a Windows, AIX and/or z/os platform (Note: we are willing to provide MQ training for the successful candidate.). Develops Web applications in a Windows XP workstation and 2000/2003 server environment, using VB
6.0 and/or .NET for deployment to a large customer bases.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree desired and ten years system analysis and application development experience. Experience with the following Web operating software technologies is a must, Visual Basic 6.0 and/or VB.NET, IIS 5.0/6.0, Windows XP/Server and Java. Experience in the following technologies is also required: COM/DCOM/Activex; HTTPS/SSL certificates; XML, ASP and MDAC; J2EE, JSP and Jar files. Ability to work on diverse projects concurrently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent testing methodology skills. Excellent debugging skills, particularly in a production support capcacity. Must be customer service oriented.
