Basic Function:
Responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing various call center and database applications in support of functional units comprising M&T's Telephone Banking Center.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include reviewing users' hardware/software requirements, making recommendations based on business needs and Bank standards.  Works with user areas to develop enhancements to existing systems.  Works with vendors on system problem resoution and vendor release updates.  Maintains and modifies routine programs according to clear and complete specifications. Evaluates simple interrelationships in immediate programming area to determine how changes in one program will affect another related area. Tests the modified programs, verifies the logic, performs any necessary debugging, and writes the documentation.  Peforms other related projects as required. 
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science/MIS preferred) or equivalent work experience. Three to five years programming experience with exposure to one of the following, IVR System programming, ACD System programming or Java.  Familiarity with telephony, bank computing platforms and Retail Banking Systems also required,  PC software/hardware and telecommunications experience helpful.    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with emphasis on providing superior customer service.  Good written and verbal communication skills.  Must be able to handle multiple taks and priorities simultaneously in a dynamic and challenging technologically diverse environment.  To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
