Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the design, implementation and optimization of database structures (tables, stored procedures, indexes, triggers, etc.) in an MS-SQL Server 2005 database for a web-based financial services product.<p>

Experience: A good candidate would possess the following:
· minimum 3 years, preferably 5+ years experience with MS-SQL Server
· ability to design data models based on financial and business requirements
· expertise in creating tables, stored procedures, views, indexes, etc. in Transact-SQL
· expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery procedures and other DBA duties
· experience with replication/mirroring and clustering
· excellent communication skills in order to explain and document the database design
The following are highly desirable:
· MCDBA certification
· understanding of financial products, especially IR, FX, Credit and Commodity derivatives<p>
