Our client, a well established downtown-based interactive web company, has an immediate need for a mid-level Java Web Developer to join their team on a long term consulting. This project involves the development of many Web 2.0 technologies to further expand the front-end of the website. Utilizing JavaScript, AJAX and JSF, the Java Web Developer will implement new front-end features and pages. The Java Web Developer will need to utilize neat HTML and CSS layouts while also interfacing with back-end database driven web applications based in Java, J2EE and mySQL. These utilize involve many next-generation approaches to web development, so the ideal candidate must have an innovative and open mind to programming.

Experience: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:<br>
-Strong experience with web development is required. Including: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.<br>
-Experience in a JBoss, Linux environment is preferred.<br>
-Development experience with and server side scripting is a plus, JSP, JSF.<br>
-Back-end exposure to MySQL is required, and SQL Server a plus.<br>
-Experience developing in web-oriented environments is ideal.<br>
-Strong communication skills a must.<br>
