Robert Half Technology is currently seeking a 3rd shift Network Operations Engineer for an international client of ours in the financial sector on Long Island. The Network Operations Engineer must have a minimum of 5+ years experience managing IP networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, supporting and maintaining a global infrastructure. As the Network Operations Engineer you will be responsible for monitoring network devices and servers, perform all scheduled maintenance such as system reboots, O/S, IOS and security updates, monitor and verify daily backup jobs. Experience administering and managing Windows 2000 and 2003 domain as well as administering MS Exchange 5.5/2003 a must. Must have substantial practical experience with Cisco routers/switches and pix firewalls.
