Our client has an immediate need for a VB .Net Developer. This growing division of a local company is looking for an experienced Software Developer to work with a team of .Net Developers on a contract to hire basis. As a VB .Net Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
• Applies independent judgment, discretion and analysis in coordination, developing and designing of computerized information systems solutions
• Confers with end users and studies effectiveness of systems flow, data usage and manual or automated processes to identify ineffective or inefficient systems
• Determines the economic and operational feasibility of using computerized methods to satisfy information needs
• Presents proposals for new systems or the enhancement, improvements and / or replacement of existing systems
• Responsible for the evaluation, selection and comprehensive systems analysis for all PC software applications
• Supports all aspects of software development activities

Experience: To be considered for this role, the incumbent must possess the following:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Two or more years of hands-on application development experience using Microsoft C # with .NET Framework
• Five or more years of VB .NET experience
• Five or more years of MS SQL server experience with T-SQL and DBA functions
• Five or more years of ASP .NET experience and knowledge of web technologies and architecture
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
