Windows Systems Support Specialist
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Windows Systems Support Specialist to join our Albany, NY team to provide technical guidance and assistance to the IT team and to provide technical reviews and recommendations about the infrastructure. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Design and implement a virtual server environment.
Design and implement a new Active Directory infrastructure.
Design and implement a new Group Policy structure within Active Directory.
Configure logging and log consolidation software.
Configure remote management and assistance tools.
Configure centralized patching software.
Research and provide recommendations on new web technologies for agency.
Configure internal database to work with reporting tools and intranet.

To be considered for this position candidates must possess the following mandatory skills and experiences:
Minimum 7 years experience in Microsoft Active Directory
Minimum 7 years experience in Microsoft Systems Management Server
Minimum 4 years experience in Microsoft Operations Manager
Minimum 4 years experience with VM Ware Server
Minimum 4 years experience with Cisco switches
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Minimum of 8 years Information Technology experience
Candidates with the following desirable experience will be considered first:
Advanced experience in Microsoft ISA Server
Experience with SQL Server
Experience in configuring Cisco ASA Appliances
Experience in configuring Websense
Knowledge of and experience with EMC SANS
