Client Support Analyst (FIX Connectivity) in New York, NY

The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of FIX protocol in a UNIX / LINUX enviroment ideally. The position is responsible for production support of various FIX Client Connectivity platforms which includes: real time production monitoring, interaction with clients / brokers with connectivity trade issues and configuring new connections in a production test environment. Additional responsibilities include FIX certification testing with new counterparties (both clients and brokers) with ability to identify issues during testing, performing gap analysis of client's requirements with current system and broker's capabilities and documenting new features and system enhancements to satisfy those requirements.



Experience: Four plus years of FIX Client Connectivity Support experience including monitoring production, resolving connectivity and trade related issues, certification testing with new clients and brokers. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, highly motivated. Attention to details very essential.

Additional technical and personal skills: Good working knowledge (user level) of Unix / Linux operating systems. Familiarity with XML. Prior experience with NYFIX products (Appia, Tradescope, cRouter, etc) a big plus. Excellent Financial Industry knowledge.
