Experience: This position will provide basic server and network administration as well as high level Help Desk support to internal employees and remote users.

Technical Support Includes But Is Not Limited To:
. Desktop troubleshooting.
. Printer troubleshooting.
. Server troubleshooting.
. Network troubleshooting.
. Help Desk support.
. Desktop imaging.
. User account maintenance.
. Perform PC software and hardware upgrades.
. Technology projects.

Technical Infrastructure Includes But Is Not Limited To:
. Desktop and Laptop systems.
. Printing systems.
. Hand Held scanner systems.
. Time clock systems
. Telephone and cell phone systems.
. LAN wiring.

RESPONSIBLITIES

. Primary responsibility is user support and customer service. Be present and available to users requiring technical assistance.
. Installs, assembles and configures software, computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on the technical infrastructure.
. Makes hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services.
. Follow standard Help Desk operating procedures; accurately log all Help Desk contacts using help desk software.
. Support wiring implementations through termination of wiring runs.
. Support development of operational and quality assurance procedures.
. Assist in planning and implementing major system hardware and software changes.
. Maintain inventory records of all personal computer equipment pertaining to physical location and software/hardware portfolios.
. Manage the liquidation of old personal computer equipment.
. Keep supervisor and other key individuals informed of assignment status by initiating face-to-face communication and written status reports.
. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
. Two or more years of industry experience built on technical school training or equivalent.
. Ability to work independently with good judgment.
. Demonstrated experience with Windows desktop Operating Systems.
. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Windows Network Operating Systems.
. Strong customer service orientation and people skills.
. Experience with implementing and supporting LAN wiring.
. Effective verbal, written and telephone communications skills.
. Demonstrated hands-on experience in PC repair and construction.
. Weekends, holiday and nighttime support may be required
