Position: Oracle DBA (Production Support)
Location: NY City
Duration: 6 months +
Description:
- Must have minimum of 7-8+ yrs of experience in Oracle Database administration
- Installation, up gradation and Maintenances of Oracle RDBMS on UNIX & Windows platforms
- Backup of database Logical and Physical (hot and cold) procedures and also using RMAN
- Expertise on Performance Tuning for and Backups & Recovery Maintenance.
- Applying security patches every quarterly
- Up gradation works of all critical Production Databases from 8.x/9i to 10g and 9i/10g RAC on Sun Solaris Unix, and Data guard implementation works.
- Experienced in escalation of different critical TARs and applying security patches every quarterly
- Typically involved in database Designing, creation and maintenance
Compensation and other relevant details:
1. We are looking only for people willing to join us directly as W2 employees.
2. W2 salaried with full benefits or W2 hourly all-inclusive rates.
3. Prefer Local candidates but W2 salaried employees may also receive relocation assistance.
