The individual will define and implement individual technology components in support of the entitlement review strategy. The engineer will work closely with various internal IT development groups and application teams to understand access control data, and should have strong knowledge of how user entitlements are utilized in custom-built applications. The engineer will analyze the business requirements, create design documents and develop technical specifications, design and develop code, and perform unit and system testing. The position requires hands-on technical work and strong project management disciplines with strong execution skills. Qualifications Required: Skill Requirements. 3+ years Java programming (EJBs, JSP, web services), C/C++, Visual Basic, scripting language (e.g., PERL, shell scripting), XML, query languages. 5+ years technical experience across multiple platforms (i.e., Windows, UNIX, mainframe); experience with Windows Active Directory, LDAP, TopSecret mainframe security and understanding of access control concepts. Database (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2). Experience with batch file extractions and transformations. Bachelors (or equivalent) in Computer Science or other related disciplines. Prior work experience must include data analysis and data retrieval techniques. Experience with mainframe and AS/400 data file types desirable. Provisioning methodology and business analysis skills Other experience. Strong ability to analyze and understand business and technology needs. Collaborative with strong results orientation and organizational skills. High-degree of initiative and track record of problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
