To provide level 1 support for the systems used by the Global Equity Derivatives trading desks in NY. Special focus on providing support for market access US equity, option, & futures markets (including the NYSE, NASDAQ, ECNs, etc.). The secondary focus would be the primary support of the Equity Finance desk.
Main responsibilities:
· Give support on the different numerous tools
· Tests, implementation and migration of GED systems
· Propose new solution in coordination with Paris teams within Equity Derivatives product line.
· Communication with users of the project (FO, MO, BO)
· Communication with other IT teams (Paris)
Main duties:
· Support the market access platform (Fix Protocol)
· Support the Equity Finance product line systems
· Test all new releases
· Developing specific tools for the US Equity Derivative desk.
· Work with Internal contacts and coordinate IT related actions:
o Back-Office, Middle-Office, Front-Office in New York
o IT, Back-Office and Research teams in Europe
· Help to manage and/or develop any kind of IT project for the US equity derivative desk
Candidate's technical skills:
· General IT Architecture: Windows, Unix, Citrix, FTP protocol.
· Proficient on Database request (SQL on Oracle, Microsoft SQL, Sybase)
· Programming: VB, C#, Java
· Bloomberg and Reuters
· Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Equity Derivatives Product: Stocks, Options, Futures, Swaps
· Equity Derivatives desk: Equity Financing, Proprietary trading. Options trading

· Ability to handle stressful situations (critical trading systems).
