BASIC FUNCTION:The candidate will be working in the Asset Liability Management group in Treasury and will be responsible for technical aspects supporting earnings-at-risk documentation and analysis.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of automated processes geared towards loading the bank’s balance sheet into the QRM model. Support the functional analysts within the A/L group by providing technical expertise, data support, and custom reports. Develop and generate reports on an as needed basis, providing unique insight on different areas of the banks balance sheet from both a strategic and business vantage point. Utilize industry leading software QRM to help model fixed, variable, non-maturity instruments and other complex structures from a data perspective.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors Degree in computer science, management information systems, or have at least 5+ years in related technical environment. 1 to 3 years experience working in a highly detailed and data oriented position (examples: Financial Reporting Systems, Management Information Systems). 1 to 3 years in SQL queries and custom reporting solutions. Proven track record designing automated processes to move, format, standardize, and scrub large amounts of data. Experience building databases for the purpose of data standardization, data archiving, and reporting. Advanced computer skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Access and Excel.IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Masters Degree (MA/MS/MBA). Internship experience. QRM experience. Other programming skills: VBA, Visual Basic, Crystal Reports. Proven track record for being able to work autonomously and within a team environment. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and a desire to learn and contribute to a group.
