The successful candidate must possess a minimum of five years experience as a SQL Server 2000 Database Administrator. Should also have experience with Active/Active clusters on SAN, T-SQL, Backup/Recovery, SSIS, and SSRS.
Experience: To be considered for the position, candidates must possess the following mandatory skills and experience:1. Minimum 5 years experience as a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database Administrator.2. Experience with multiple SQL Servers and named instances of SQL Server3. Experience with Active/Active clusters on SAN technology4. Experience in the design, setup, installation and implementation of databases in large scale environments5. Experience in routine data maintenance: re-indexing, integrity checking, database Shrinking, log file monitoring6. Experience in performance tuning: indexing, compression drive distribution, load balancing, replication7. Experience with Clustered SQL Servers8. Extensive knowledge of T-SQL (procedures, triggers, functions)9. Ability to document and implement SQL server Disaster recovery models10. Must posses advanced knowledge of Data Transformations Services11. Must have implemented high availability SQL Server models12. Experience with SQL Server Replication13. Experience with Backups, Restores, jobs, alerts, and processes on SQL Server 200014. Experience with database and server security 15. Knowledge of TCP/IP concepts16. Knowledge of Microsoft programming languages and concepts Ability to write and maintain SQL coding standards17. Knowledge and familiarity with SQL server 2005, SSIS, SSRS18. Must be proficient in English and be able to communicate effectively with other technical staffCandidates with the following desirable experience will be considered first:1. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator 2000 preferred
