Description:
Reporting to a Vice President / Project Manager of the IT Applications group, applicant will participate in the design and development of new and existing software in support of insurance and human resources operations business.
Specific Responsibilities
-Candidate will be responsible for software development and design, systems integration, and testing.
-Candidate will work with business customers, gathering, defining and implementing business solutions using standard development toolset of Microsoft C# .NET and Oracle RDMS.
-Candidate will be capable of understanding modeling, analytic and operation requirements.
-Candidate must be able to work independently, as well as with a team.
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, dynamic environment, ability to multi-task
Qualifications
-The successful candidate will have 1-3 years track record in the design, development, implementation and support of business applications.
-The candidate should have 1-2 years experience developing applications using Microsoft C# .NET. Strong object oriented coding experience is important.
- Experience designing and delivering Service Oriented Architecture is a plus
-The candidate should be proficient in Structured Query Langauge, specific skills in Oracle PL-SQL a plus.
-Must have excellent analytical skills and a strong desire to continue their technical education. Excellent communications skills are a must. The candidate will be expected to contribute to our technical strategy as well as efficiently producing reliable production code.
