Responsibilities:
* Individual and collaborative design of significant product features to meet customer needs
* Individual contributor responsible for the implementation, debugging, delivery, and maintenance of those product features * Work closely with other talented software and QA engineers to build a quality product
Addl Qualifications: At least one of the following!
* Experience with IP networking and with voice or video over IP applications
* Experience with video encoding standards such as MPEG-2 or MPEG-4
* Experience with network streaming protocols such as RTSP
* Experience with video quality measurement
* Experience with video device management such as Encoders, Splicers, and QAMs

Experience: Mandatory Qualifications: You must have ALL of these! * BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent * 3+ years of industry experience working on challenging software architecture * Strong technical written and verbal communication in English * Excellent programming and software design skills in Java, C or C++ * Strong object oriented design fundamentals * Self-motivated and independent learner with proven ability to conquer new problem domains * Comfortable working in a small, flexible and fast-paced environment * Interest and ability to grow into a leadership role (lead design sessions, provide guidance to new hires, etc.)
