Description: The key qualification for this position is 3+ years experience in Java and other web related technologies. The candidate must be a fast learner with the ability to pick up existing code quickly and work well under pressure. Candidate has to be able to work with a group of offshore engineers doing research, design, testing and development. Ideal candidate will also have a minimum of two years in a team project environment and be able to work in a project lifecycle process.

Responsibilities:
- Develops, designs and delivers technology solutions and software applications to meet operational needs according to development standards
- Develops and executes test plans and conducts technical reviews
- Executes high-level impact analysis based on operational and/or client requests

Technical Skills:
- Java
- HTML/JavaScript
- JSON
- AJAX
- CSS
- Object-Oriented design and analysis
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle
- Experience with both Microsoft and Open Source technologies

Non-technical requirements
- Good user interface communication skills
- A proven record of completing development projects on time and with a high degree of quality
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Ability to provide technical guidance and advice to other team members.
- Must be able to work under tight dead lines and be self directed
- Ability to properly escalate conflicting priorities
- Proactive in taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required.
