A well known financial services company is looking to bring on a Web Infratruture Specialist with heavy Sharepoint 2003 experience. The candidate must have extensive infrastructure skills in the design, packaging, delivery and support of web infrastructure technologies. This role requires that the candidate assist with the following: *IIS and SharePoint automated installation and configuration and maintenance, *supporting development team on ASP, ASP.NET including Web Part, *Interact with development teams and with engineering; assist in the design, testing and deployment of the custom code while preserving the stability of the shared platform., *act as a regional SME (subject matter expert), training the rest of the team, *will act as the SME to guide web developers on how to develop/customize SharePoint Web Parts based on specifications from the business lines, *design infrastructure as a highly available shared service, *process design and implementation exp.
* Strong Documentation skills and ability to interact with key customers.
Experience: Experience with SharePoint 2003 / 2007, IIS, Windows O/S, ASP and ASP.NET. and supporting infrastructure components.
Should be able to administer SharePoint connectivity issues between web developers and the Windows O/S support teams.
In-depth understanding of Web based technologies and Web Services.
Desirable Skills:
Web Part development SharePoint branding and customisation; Windows O/S, VBScript, ASP and ASP.NET.
