Position: Datastage Developer
Location: Newyork City NY
Duration: 6 + Months
Technical Environment: IBM Datastage, Informatica, QA, SQL
Job Description:
. 5-7 years of experience in ETL (Extract Transform & Load) development experience utilizing an ETL tool such as Informatica, IBM DataStage, etc.
. Six plus years related experience in data testing to include SQL and testing relational databases, ETL Logic, and reports built from multiple systems.
. Advanced to Expert level MicroInformatica Data Quality and Data Explorer Access for complex data analysis and comparison.
. High level of proficiency in SQL language and SQL Server including the ability to create and execute stored procedures for data verification.
. Reviews data quality throughout the system and investigates issues.
. Analyzes existing reports and metrics for adherence to metric and data standards.
. Analyzes found system data integrity issues and works toward solutions.
. Identifies gaps in processes and reporting from a data standpoint.
. Develops and maintains QA regression test suite and standardized report testing.
. Supports technology teams for quick response time to end users' requests.
. Develops and implements test plans for LifeMasters reports and data.
. Documents test plans, procedures, and test results per defined technical specifications or business requirements.
. Reconciles operational reports with client reports.
. Uses PL/SQL, Informatica, First Logic, and other available tools to automate the QA verification process for test scripts used for standardized reporting.
. Seeks out reporting QA tasks that can be automated and makes recommendations for automation projects.
. Informatica DQ/DE to automate data manipulation such as report creation or data validation.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience interacting with both technical and non-technical personnel is required.
