Title / Position Summary :
Business Objects / Crystal Reports Developer - to work with the ESG-HRIS group in the development of Crystal reports.
Responsibilities:
Design, programming, testing and implementation various reports using Business Objects and Crystal Reports.
Analyze and propose solutions to complex problems utilizing business and technical knowledge.
Work with direct manager and business users to anticipate, understand and support their business requirements.
Interpret internal/external business issues and technical situation to recommend technical solutions.
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A degree of creativity is expected.
Provide documentation to describe any generated programming logic and coding methods used to explain difficult concepts and identify solutions.
Ability to transfer and share knowledge with other developers and mentor other people in specific technologies.
Ability to understand business process and information requirements.
Manage activities on assigned projects to ensure objectives are met.
Regular attendance in accordance with schedule.
Must possess a "customer service" attitude.
Experience: Job Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience in Crystal Reports / Business Intelligence and related technologies.
Application expertise and applicable business knowledge required (e.g.data sourcing, extracting and transforming, data mart concepts )
Experience with database technologies (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL 2000).
Effective development and analytical skills.
Professional presentation and facilitation skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Goal oriented and focused with strong creative thinking skills.
Team oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Good customer service skills.
