As the International Business Continuity Business Development Executive (BDE) you will lead the development, qualification and execution of large, innovative Business Continuity and Resiliency solutions across the globe. In depth knowledge of business continuity strategies, processes and enabling technologies is required. Experience in several technologies (large systems, mid-range systems, storage systems) as well as processes (high availability, recovery, security) is a plus. Although technology experience is required, as the BDE you are expected to be able to interact with business executives as well as you do with IT executives. This includes being able to understand the client's business issues and articulate the value of the proposed solution to CxO level business and IT executives. A background in IT Strategy is needed.
You will need in-depth experience working with senior level business and IT management to develop comprehensive solutions that optimize business process availability and continuity. Excellent interpersonal/executive communication skills are required as is the ability to manage senior executive relationships strategically.
Experience: Here is a summary of what you must have before being considered. Please review carefully and submit your resume if you meet the following criteria
. Minimum of 15yrs consulting experience in any of the following: Disaster Recovery planning, Business Continuity planning or Resiliency planning
. Recent hands on experience related to sales and delivery of disaster recovery products or services
. Strong verbal and written communication skills in areas such as: client presentations, contributions to trade newsletters, subject matter roundtables etc.
. Comprehensive, broad understanding of technology, with emphasis on all aspects (application - infrastructure) of disaster recover, continuity planning, resiliency
. Experience selling and delivering service based solutions
. Extensive International travel required, must be willing for all travel to be International, with trips lasting two weeks, occasionally longer
