My client seeks Sr.Linux Administrator for a large advertising company located in Manhattan. This client provides innovative, performance-based marketing solutions that achieve superior results for premium-branded websites and advertisers.
Linux Administrator Responsibilities:
Ensure 24x7 site operation.
Configure and manage system and network devices.
Monitor system availability and performance.
Help develop tools to monitor and maintain systems.
Help design and scale systems to meet demand.
Linux Administrator Requirements:
Multiple years of Linux or UNIX system administration experience in large environments desired, but candidates of all levels will be considered.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of webservers, firewalls/security, DNS, SMTP.
Knowledge of one or more of the following: bash, perl, python, C.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
