Genesis10 is currently searching for a Senior Sourcing Manager for a contract to hire position in New York City
Responsibilities include:
- Act as trusted advisor to assigned CTOs on matters of sourcing
- Help build/implement resource strategy, driving multi-million dollars of value in the proper utilization of various resource types and utilizing the most appropriate locations (primary, secondary, and offshore).
- Define and manage sourcing strategies for the assigned CTOs, focusing on business application software and IT project consulting. Ensure support from other areas of sourcing meets CTO needs
- Run the sourcing process for the assigned CTOs: define requirements, develop appropriate sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and implement contracts
- Directly manage and lead large, complex, high value/high risk sourcing projects
Experience: The successful candidate will be familiar with:
- Sourcing process and related disciplines (project management, RFx development, SLAs, etc.)
- Direct experience as an IT practitioner and deep familiarity with AD and infrastructure practices
- Expert negotiation ability
- Supplier management
- Strategic thinking
Experience:
- 2 - 4 years of IT (either application development or infrastructure) experience; 4 - 6 years of sourcing experience; 10 - 12 years of business experience.
- Commercial Contracts Management (CCM) or Certified Purchasing Manager is helpful
